Grocery store, cafe, sports store and restaurants are just a short walk away. The area offers excellent hiking trails and fishing opportunities in Lake Sjusjøen. There is a nicely laid out hiking trail around the lake, which is also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. There is also a great playground and barbecue area by the lake. The former Olympic city of Lillehammer is only half an hour away by car. There you can experience, among other things, the open-air museum Maihaugen, the Olympic Museum and the cozy pedestrian zone.
