A Modern Nordic Escape in the Hills of Brown County

Welcome to Nordic Retreat, a thoughtfully designed sanctuary nestled on 10 private acres in the peaceful hills just outside Nashville, Indiana. Created by Revkah Design, this custom-built retreat blends Scandinavian-inspired architecture with the natural beauty of Brown County, offering guests a peaceful escape focused on wellness, comfort, and simplicity.

Spring in Brown County brings fresh energy to the forest. Trees begin to bloom, birds return to the hills, and the surrounding woods come alive with vibrant greens. Large windows throughout the home frame these natural views, filling the living spaces with soft natural light and creating a calming connection between the indoors and the surrounding landscape.

Step inside and experience a space where clean Nordic design meets warm hospitality. The open living area is bright and inviting, with minimalist details, natural textures, and thoughtfully selected furnishings that create a peaceful atmosphere for gathering, relaxing, and slowing down.

The home comfortably sleeps up to eight guests across three beautifully designed bedrooms, making it an ideal retreat for couples, friends, or families seeking a quiet getaway in nature. With three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the layout offers both comfort and privacy while still maintaining an open, welcoming feel throughout the home.

Outside, guests can unwind in the Hot Springs hot tub, surrounded by peaceful forest views. Whether you’re soaking under the stars in the evening or enjoying a quiet morning surrounded by birdsong, the hot tub offers one of the most relaxing experiences the property has to offer.

Just steps away, the outdoor shower provides a refreshing moment to reconnect with nature. It’s a simple but memorable experience that adds to the retreat’s focus on wellness and relaxation.

For those seeking quiet reflection, the private loft library offers a cozy space to read, unwind, or simply take in the elevated views of the surrounding countryside. A small wet bar adds an extra touch of convenience, making it easy to enjoy a glass of wine or a warm drink while relaxing in the loft.

Nordic Retreat was designed with eco-conscious living in mind. The home is fully electric and equipped with thoughtful features that support sustainability without sacrificing comfort. Guests can enjoy filtered drinking water from the in-wall bottle filler, complimentary EV charging for electric vehicles, and full laundry facilities for longer stays.

While the property feels wonderfully secluded, it’s located just minutes from downtown Nashville, Indiana, one of the Midwest’s most beloved small-town destinations. Visitors can explore charming local shops, art galleries, restaurants, wineries, and live music venues throughout the village.

Outdoor enthusiasts will also love the proximity to Brown County State Park, Indiana’s largest state park, offering over 16,000 acres of scenic forests, hiking trails, mountain biking paths, and breathtaking overlooks.

After a day exploring the trails, shops, and scenic drives of Brown County, return to Nordic Retreat to unwind in the hot tub, relax in the loft library, or simply enjoy the quiet beauty of the surrounding woods.

Whether you're planning a relaxing wellness retreat, a peaceful weekend escape, or a memorable getaway with loved ones, Nordic Retreat offers a modern sanctuary where nature, design, and comfort come together.
