Welcome home to The Fifth in downtown Highlands NC! From the moment you enter this stunning apartment, you will be surrounded by all the touches of a luxury hotel but with the space and privacy you want to enjoy your mountain getaway.
You will be greeted by an open concept floor plan with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen features quartz countertops, high end appliances, custom cabinetry including a wine cooler and a hand-built island with a butcher block top and seating for four. The dining area has a table with ample room for six. The living area has plenty of space to relax while reading a book or enjoying the game on the 65” television. The electric fireplace gives just the right touch of ambiance for a cool evening. The top-of-the-line sleeper sofa with air chamber and plush mattress give you space for two additional guests. And kids are always welcome at The Fifth; they even have their own loft space set up as a play area!
Off the living area, you can take in the cool mountain breezes from the screened porch while sipping a glass of wine. It is the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening.
With two bedrooms featuring king sized beds and two full baths, this well-appointed apartment provides luxury bedding, Frette bath linens, and Molton Brown bath products. This was our 4th time we have stayed in this unit. We visit Highlands a lot, and this unit is just off(50 feet) of Main Street. Access to the unit is via a touch pad, so you don't have to worry about losing the key. As you climb the stairs, it welcomes you to a very open plan with a well appointed kitchen, island that could seat 6, a dining table that also seats 6, and a living room that is very cozy, with a faux fireplace and a large screen smart TV. The kitchen is well thought out, with everything you might need if you like to cook. It includes a full-size fridge. Both bedrooms are spacious with their own bathrooms. One bathroom has a tub shower, and the other has a regular shower. Both are plenty large. And both bedrooms have their own smart TV, if you want to watch your favorite shows.The unit comes with a great washer & drier, if you are planning a longer stay. It made washing clothes very easy. I have only stepped out onto the street side porch a couple times, but it faces the street and a view of trees on the other side of the street. Parking for the unit is immediately outside. So nice and close.The unit is directly across the street from Mountain Fresh, a well equipped store that makes the best breakfast sandwiches to order. Overall, the unit is always very clean, appears to be recently modeled, sleeps 4 adults easily, has everything we need, a true home away from home.Lastly, the owners are a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful place. Incredible location. Impeccable service and communication. Staying here made the town completely walkable. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.

This apartment is beautiful, with all the amenities, and so close to downtown Highlands! We stayed there for the week of our daughter's wedding, and it was the perfect location for catching up with family and wedding guests. It was our second time staying in this apartment and we would be delighted to stay there again. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and very accommodating!
