We particularly liked Patsy's friendliness and attention to detail. The house was warm and comfortable. We cooked for ourselves and there was plenty of equipment and space. There's a washing machine and dryer if you need one, but the outside line is available.
It was quiet, near a shop and bus route.
Patsy kindly let us charge our electric car from the house overnight, for which we paid her.
Highly recommend this accommodation.
Maybe a bit more cutlery.

We spent a week in Spiddal Cottage. The location suited us very well, it is half an hour from Galway with and on the doorstep of all Connemara has to offer. It is walking distance to the village. The house is spotless with a very well equipped kitchen. Patsy , the owner, was very welcoming with milk in the fridge so that we could have a cuppa when we arrived and a generous fruit bowl to keep us healthy during our stay. I would recommend.

Clean property in need of modernisation as decor and fittings require update. Overall a good location to explore Galway Bay and the city
