Part of the bigstaynorfolk luxury group of owner managed Norfolk holiday rentals.
Totally unique, this Grade II Windmill has been completely renovated to provide a stunning holiday home.
Standing imposingly within its large garden the Mill offers 360 degree views stretching up to 20 miles from the 7th floor.
The garden has heated pool (April - October incl) and large patio and BBQ area.
The Mill bursts with character - internal beams, oak floors, wood stove, open fires and the former workings of the Old Mill. The huge kitchen/diner has French doors that lead to the garden. The split level heavily beamed sitting room is full of charm with the original mill stone as a main feature.
The ground floor of the Tower is presented as a stunning formal dining room with round table.
One ground floor en-suite bedroom, 3 first floor en-suites, and three further bedrooms with an additional full family bathroom and WC make this an ideal property for multi-generational and large friendship groups.
Outside, in the large games barn, a ping-pong table, snooker table and table football provide hours of family fun.
Pool Information:
The Outdoor Pool is open from April 1st to October 31st.
We will be happy to heat the pool to 28 degrees during these months at an extra cost of £40.00 per night. This charge applies for the entirety of the rental period..
The mini games room in the main house is equipped with TV and Nintendo Wii, whilst the larger 50sqm games room by the pool has a full sized ping-pong table, a 3/4 sized snooker table and table football.
Children's Items:
Junior bed, travel cots, high chair, monitor, stair gates ( fixed and portable), steriliser, bed guard, night lights, baby bath seat and non-slip bathroom steps are all available at the windmill.
Family Dogs:
Well behaved family dogs are very welcome but we ask that they remain downstairs at all times and not be left alone in the house unless crated.The back garden is fully enclosed.

A fantastic, interesting and unique property that offers loads of character and with all modern amenities. We went in the height of summer but it would also make a cosy winter destination with lots of fire places, nooks and crannies. The hosts were super, friendly, fast to reply and have thought about everything. The kitchen has a large table, as does the dining room for big gatherings.

A great property that was perfect for a large group (12 of us) to stay in over the weekend.The pool was great fun and the property was amazing with lots of rooms and areas to use, including nice dining areas and being able to go to the top of the windmill was a great addition.We used the windmill turret and the round table to play a game of The Traitors which was great fun and completely ideal for this.The hosts were very friendly and came on the first day to check everything was okay and if we needed anything.I would highly recommend a stay in this property for a large group gathering

A perfect location for a family gathering over a special birthday weekend. We were lucky with the weather and spent a lot of time outside and in the pool, which was very warm. A few things it might be useful to know:* The double beds are all 5ft wide which some couples found a bit narrow, and some of the bedrooms are quite small and/or dark.* All party members need to be reasonably sure on their feet. There are steps everywhere, open-tread staircases, and even the downstairs bedroom has steps down and up.* You can't have more than 15 guests in the house - I had hoped to invite extra people for a birthday lunch.*With 13 adults and two children in the house it never felt crowded, with loads of sitting space inside and out.*The village is pleasant and there are attractions within easy driving distance, but it's not particularly somewhere for long walks, and the best views by far in this flat countryside are from the top of the mill.*A few things had been overlooked on our visit - no washing up liquid or teatowels until Gary kindly brought them over, and not quite enough toilet paper.*We used Chef2Dine4 for a special meal and they were brilliant.Thank you Gary and Sandra for your help and welcome.

Great proeprty with lots of space for a large family. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of bathrooms and outdoor area was great. Close to the brilliant community run pub as well
