This private garden condo is on the second floor of the south side of the building ...about 60 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!
Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.
This newly renovated two bedroom/ two bathroom is able to accommodate 6 guests. The master bedroom has a king size bed, full closet, and an en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and full closet. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa.
The kitchen is fully equipped to allow for easy meal prep and there is dining both indoors and outdoors. At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.
Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. One large high efficiency Air Conditioning unit has been installed in the living room for added comfort. Please note, guest bedrooms have ceiling fans only. Bedroom windows have been upgraded for noise quieting comfort.

We are owners of another unit here at HHK so we knew what to expect. They’ve just reopened after an extensive renovation so there were some things that were being worked on. You can’t bear the location and beach access. It’s a beautiful place to visit!

The HHK is a wonderful place to settle yourself down. So close to the beach. The grounds were well kept and the management friendly. It was nice to be so close to shopping, groceries and finery. The beach is unparalleled.

We’ve stayed here numerous times. Could use a few newer appliances (blender, toaster, coffee maker) but besides that, it’s fantastic. Already booked for next year!

We did need to clean the kitchen counters, they were grimy, thank you for cleaning supplies! plastic glassware should be replaced very used. one dining chair had a broken roller . This unit has been used a lot and it does show some wear, but am sure many memories have been made here! The 2nd floor outside hall entry lights were not working very dark at night to get to unit. Love theHale Hui Kai , a unique vintage ! the pool was spotless ! We will always return , suggest room airconditioners , the fans were helpful! Loved our trip! Thank you!
