This lovingly furnished half of a house is located on the edge of the forest at the foot of Schaumburg Castle and is a former workers’ house from the Coverden estate. It’s perfect for a vacation in the countryside, family getaways, relaxation, hiking, and biking in the Weserbergland region. Up to six people can stay in the cozy bedrooms spread over two floors. There are two parking spaces in front of the house. The highlight is the terrace in the garden, which gets plenty of sun and offers a fantastic view of the idyllic Weser Valley. You’re welcome to store your bicycles here (in a locked shed).

The house was spotless and well appointed.
Location is halfway between Rinteln and Hameln which suited us just fine. Lovely and quiet and a great view from the terrace.
My only negative point is that rubbish and recycling was hard to understand and there did not appear to be enough bins to separate everything out. Anyway we separated out as best as we could after locating more black bin bags.
Overall a great stay.
