Surrounded by peaceful woodlands, this inviting cabin was designed for slowing down and spending quality time together. The open living area centers around a cozy fireplace, while the fully equipped kitchen makes everything from hearty breakfasts to family dinners feel effortless.
Three comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms provide plenty of space for families and groups, while the game room with a pool table and console games offers entertainment long after the sun goes down.
Outside, soak in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit beneath Vermont's star-filled skies, or enjoy quiet mornings on the deck with nothing but the sounds of the surrounding forest. Located just outside the charming village of Townshend, this home offers peaceful surroundings with easy access to Southern Vermont's mountains, outdoor recreation, and small-town charm. Whether you're visiting for skiing, hiking, golf, or scenic drives, you'll find year-round adventure just a short drive away.

- 20 min to The Grafton Inn for elevated Vermont dining in a historic setting.
- 35 min to Stratton Village for restaurants, cafés, après-ski, and shopping.

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.
Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.
Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.
Air conditioning: There is central AC at this property, which cools the whole house. AC availability is seasonal and depending on weather (late spring and summer). Heating is also seasonal, and depending on weather, available during the cold seasons (autumn-winter).
Pets: We’re happy to welcome your pup to the home. There’s a $150 fee + tax for the first dog and $50 + tax for each additional one. If you’re planning to bring more than one, please reach out to us before completing your booking so we can get everything set up for you. For everyone’s comfort, we kindly ask that dogs stay leashed outdoors and that you clean up after them. Please note that cats aren’t permitted due to allergy concerns. Any pet-related damages may result in additional charges.
Maximum occupancy: Please mind that this house can host a maximum of 10 guests per fire code. As per the fire department, infants are included in that number. Therefore, any infants included in the booking above maximum occupancy of 10 would unfortunately result in the reservation being cancelled.
Age requirement: Guests must be 25+ to rent.
Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.

The property was very cozy. The indoor wood burning stove was so nice especially watching the snow fall. The hot tub was great after a fun day on the slopes. The rooms were spacious ands loved the basement area with the pool table. Great little spot in the woods

We had a blast. The fireplace and the hot tub added so much magic. The kitchen is insanely well stocked. At some point we needed batteries, and we found some in a drawer, which really made my day! Not to mention, there are so many fun board games! overall, our trip was amazing!There are very few downsides that I can think of, one being the beds probably. The mattresses are not comfortable. But that was fine. I also wish the hot tub had a cup holder. But again, these are very nit-picky things.
