Malindi is located on a cool quiet hill at Bacolet Point, a lovely residential area within walking distance to 3 lovely beaches on the Atlantic coast and the town of Scarborough. A 15-minute drive to the nearest golf course and 20 minutes to the Airport.
It is a gorgeous Caribbean style villa with swimming pool, offering magnificent panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and southern coast of Tobago. The accommodation consists of the 2-bedroom main house and one-bedroom apartment beneath.
A Caribbean-style split level villa featuring lovely cathedral beamed ceilings, teak hardwood flooring and ceramic tiles throughout. The spacious lounge and dining area are surrounded by three sets of double French doors leading out to a large breezy wrap-around veranda offering breath-taking ocean views. An ideal setting for outdoor dining while watching the cruise ships go by.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all essential appliances. A unique 'barn door' leads to the wrap-around veranda allowing one to enjoy the scenic view even while preparing culinary delights!
The two air-conditioned bedrooms on the upper-level feature double French doors, each leading to small private balconies. The spacious master bedroom features a king size bed, an ensuite bathroom and offers a spectacular view of the ocean. A second bathroom serves the other bedroom which features 2 twin beds. There is also a handy guest powder room. The laundry/utility room is conveniently adjacent to the bedrooms.

Situated on the lower level with a separate entrance is the delightful self-contained apartment featuring 1 bedroom, 1 ensuite bathroom, equipped kitchenette and lounge with walk out to an adjoining patio with a large bar-b-que grill offering splendid views of the ocean and surrounding garden.
• The air-conditioned bedroom offers a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom.
• The compact kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge and toaster oven.
• The living/dining area opens onto a covered veranda offering spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding garden. Ideal for evening bar-b-ques.

I can't say enough about this property and would rate Malindi Villa with 6 stars if I could. The VRBO photos show exactly what you're getting: a unique, well-maintained villa with incredible views, gorgeous grounds, a large lovely pool and 3 air-conditioned bedrooms including a private suite with separate entrance on the lower level. It was perfect for our family of 5 adults. John (the owner) and his brother Neil (the caretaker) were concerned, responsive hosts. They even provided us a homemade rum cake as well as a bottle of Tobago rum, fresh fruit, milk, cheese, and other staples upon check in. The kitchen is well-stocked, so we prepared a few of our own meals but also took advantage of the chance to order breakfast and lunches (home cooked and delivered by a friendly local couple) and dined out at Cafe Havana at the Bacolet Beach Club (1 mile away) and at the Seahorse Restaurant at Black Rock Bay (a 20-minute drive). A rental car is essential as Malindi Villa is at the end of a residential road at Bacolet Point about 20 minutes from the airport. We took a few excursions during our weeklong stay to hike at Argyle Falls, visit Pigeon Point beach, and explore the nearby Fort King George in Scarborough - but mostly enjoyed lounging by the pool, relaxing with a book in the gazebo or on the veranda overlooking Bacolet Bay, and taking daily walks through the surrounding neighborhood and along the unoccupied beach close by at Minister Bay. Don't hesitate to book your stay here!

John & Neil (brothers & hosts) couldn’t have been more hospitable or more welcoming. On arrival, you immediately feel this is the perfect start to your holiday. House is spacious, the views incredible and every possible need catered for. The local Rum & Rum punch and humungous avocados and essential basics provided were such a lovely touch, even the bathrooms had new toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and other bits, incase you’ve forgotten yours. The pool was big & the perfect temperature for swimming morning, day or night. If you’re not swimming or enjoying the view, plenty of books, games and excellent TV channels provided. The villa has its own small orchard where large lemons and beautiful mangos are grown. Couple of essential facts to be shared:- Car is essential, location is idyllic but remote - WiFi excellent - Beach towels are provided- Air conditioning in bedrooms excellent, lounge has fans but can get humid.- Buy bread in the morning, supermarkets do run out later in the day- Local great restaurant, Havana (fish soup fantastic!)- Drink bottled water- Bug spray essentialThank you John & Neil, your home was beautiful, every possible need catered for and my family and I had the most wonderful, relaxing week!

Excellence is the one word which truly describes every aspect of spending time in Malindi Villa. The location is a perfect base to explore Tobago while enjoying outstanding sea views. The property itself is spacious, tastefully furnished and equipped to a very high standard with every conceivable need catered for. The friendly professional management of the villa by the host is also to the same standard. Always ready to help and absolutely nothing is to much trouble. 10
