A wonderful wooded property near several restaurants in Gardiner and a short drive to the Mohonk Preserve. Communication with the owner was excellent. A minor need. Finding a switch. The owner texted right away. Plenty of room for several people. The deck outside allowed for morning coffee with song birds. You can hear cows and the river in the distance. The road is not as busy as Albany post, so no car noise. Enjoy the upstate environment. The grass was recently mowed and had a wonderful fresh smell in the air. The amenities were plentiful. A well stocked spice rack. Several ways of making coffee.A great escape from the city or visiting family in the area.

This was such a beautiful and cozy place to spend the weekend (honestly the pictures don’t do it justice, the space is more beautiful in person). Plus the home is perfectly clean and the kitchen is well equipped.

It stated that the property is cleaned after every guest, but all the bedding smelled like a wet dog, and we found long dog hair on the floor and sofas (our dog is a poodle mix - non shedding and short-haired).
The bedrooms were hot, because air conditioning was only available in the living room.
The only shower had a broken handle and we had to use the pliers (conveniently left next to the bath) to turn the water on and to adjust the temperature.
We liked the floor plan and the kitchen - it was clean and stocked with enough dishes, cups and utensils..
