Casita is centrally located, near new Walmart, and much closer to restaurants and activities than Las Conchas. Casita is clean, fully furnished and pet friendly including new large flatscreen TV, outdoor grill, full size refrigerator, new stove, new washer & dryer, stocked pantry, A/C, heating, etc. Casita is decorated in Mexican style in a gated, safe, friendly, English-speaking community with 24 hour English-speaking Security guards. Casita sits on hill overlooking town and distant mountains. Covered, spacious patio with BBQ grill affords outdoor dining. Casita is an easy, safe two block walk to Mirador Beach on Sea of Cortez offering swimming, fishing, tide pooling, horseback riding, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, Enjoy dolphin/whale/bird watching, water sports, etc. Puerto Peñasco, aka Rocky Point, is a safe, friendly town 60 miles south of US border crossing at Lukeville, Arizona. Drive your own car over patrolled, modern highway. Must adhere to 25 mph all the way across Sonoyta. Enjoy awesome fresh shrimp, flounder in many restaurants.

Cute cozy house by the mirador beach. Owner let us check in early. Security was good and I felt safe my whole trip. Close to the beach, there’s a place to park your car with easy beach access. Walking to the beach is also an option but hard if you’re lugging your icebox and chairs with small children but doable maybe 10 minute walk. Nice cold air and comfy beds. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The lodgeing was exactly as advertized and much more. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the patio. The patio is open on one side so their is a good brezze and open view. Their is a large variety of birds that visit. The guards were strolling back and forth, day and night, and were very friendly to visit with. We felt very secure in our surroundings. The house was comfortable and the prime TV came in perfectly. This was our first trip to Rocky Point and it did not dissappoint. We can't wait to get back.

The house is definitly an older, Mexican style home. Very unique experience.
