Our house is one of the few in Sanary rated 4 stars by Var Tourisme.
You will see on the map that it is located in the heart of the village, in the immediate vicinity of the sea and shops.
It is however quiet as it faces due west towards interior gardens.
Your car will be useless and it can stay in the garage for the duration of your stay! You can do everything on foot or by bike!
Possibility to accommodate 6 to 8 people with sofa bed in the living room. Complete renovation carried out in 2008 in order to preserve the Provençal character, lime plaster on the facades and roof in aged hollow canal tiles.
3 bedrooms, 2 with a double bed and the third with 2 single beds; all beds were changed in 2019.
Shower room and bathroom upstairs.
3 toilets including 1 on the first floor.
Open-plan kitchen with fridge freezer, capacity 317 L, 86 L
Reversible air conditioning throughout the house, pleasant on hot days, particularly quiet.
Dining table on terrace where we have all our meals. View of the garden and beyond of the neighborhood, with a large and magnificent olive tree. Tuscan and Provençal atmosphere.
Swimming pool 7X3X1.5m with outdoor solar shower and aperitif area surrounded by a small herb garden.
Landscaped garden with lawn, palm trees, a large and beautiful olive tree, lemon tree, aromatic herbs: automatic watering and gardener for maintenance.
Swimming pool: safety by bar cover: maintenance contract, one weekly visit.
Parking space (50 EUR/week) and linen (20 EUR per person) optional.
Cleaning fee of 100€ to be paid on site.
Sea and coastal activities nearby: Six-Four beach 800m from the house: large sandy beach.
Portissol beach 950 m from the house: small beach in a charming bay.
Boat rental, sailing, sea trips around the islands of Embiez, the island of Bendor, the creeks of Cassis or the harbor of Toulon.
Rent a sea kayak to sail between the island of Grand Gaou and the island of Tour Fondue or to reach the inaccessible beaches of the island of Grand Rouveau.
Parasailing, big game fishing, diving (www.sanary-plongee.com)...
Between land and sea, take the coastal path a few meters from the house.

Beatrice's villa looks idyllic in the lead photograph in the listing and doesn't disappoint. The garden is pretty and a good size for a town-centre property, the swimming pool traditionally constructed from limestone and rendered walls is delightful, the planting simple but effective - with a lovely bourgainvillea over the terrace area, and - of course - charming shutters to shade all the rooms.The interior is plain and simple in it's decoration and furnishing and SO well equipped! The rooms all a good size, and a large dining area is mirrored outside by two dining areas on the terrace.There was a short delay in receiving our instructions about how to access the villa prior to arrival, but once there we met the neighbour who was so helpful both then and throughout our stay.Sanary-sur-Mer itself is a very lovely French seaside town. It's municipal planting and public areas couldn't be better, the marina balances rather than dominates the old port, there's a really excellent DAILY market, many great shops. All the local people we met were friendly and helpful without exception.And Beatrice's villa is a step away from all this, yet such a peaceful retreat. All-in-all it offered us a wonderful holiday. Our third holiday in this lovely villa. What more can we say!

Easy enough to get to but no nearby parking.My son was taken to a multi-storey car park approximately 7 minutes away. We were then let into the house by M.Duclos who lives at No 16.Entrance to the house is through his lobby and outside the house door are loads and loads of wood ,electrical appliances needing repair and a multitude of other detritus Not altogether very welcoming.The house is rather tired In appearance but comfortable outside ,nice pool and loungers.We were there for three nights,lovely restaurants,great food.Went to Bandol with Uber taxi again great food.We enjoyed our stay as long as you closed your eyes to the mess at our door.
