The house is located in Mulberry Point, a quiet beach community approximately 2.5 miles from the historic Guilford green. Frequently listed as one of Connecticut's prettiest communities, Guilford's "downtown" boasts restaurants, historic homes, boutiques, a book store and library, coffee shops and patisseries. A short car trip will take you to Yale University, the Connecticut river, Gillette castle, Goodspeed Opera House, Mystic Seaport and many more Connecticut landmarks.

Great view for the winter!

Lovely location. Several problems emerged due to deferred maintenance. A dining room chair fell apart while someone was sitting in it. One door closure fell apart. A second floor window would not close as a hurricane passed through. I was advised to “all you have to do is tie a string around it and tie it shut”. Many windows would not close with the handle and required two people to close- one inside turning the handle while another on the outside pushed on the window. The owner did not see a problem with any of this and just minimized the concerns as “it’s just an old house”

Beautiful view, quiet, peaceful neighborhood!

We had a wonderful vacation! The weather was perfect all week long, and the ocean view was stunning. The house was clean and well cared for. The only drawbacks were the kayaks were unusable, as were the two beach chairs, and the walk to the beach was longer than we anticipated. But overall, we had a wonderful time.
