"Hi there, welcome to the island!" calls out Neptun, the two-room vacation apartment in the heart of Westerland, which owes its name to the god of flowing waters, the god of the seas. Of course, this fits right in with the island, just as this vacation apartment fits perfectly with the best break of the year—your vacation. Haus Ornum, where “Neptun” is located, is just around the corner from Friedrichstraße, a good five-minute walk from the train station and the central bus station (ZOB), and across from St. Nicolai Church—so it’s right in the heart of things, yet at the same time a little off the beaten path.

The apartment features a west-facing balcony, a bedroom with a double bed, and a living room with a sleeper sofa, so it can accommodate up to three people. It’s decorated in the trendy color beige, was recently renovated, and has been refurnished with an eye for detail. Eye-catcher: the cool coffee table with a ship’s propeller as its base. And of course, it’s worth mentioning that this apartment building offers all the comforts you need, including a washing machine.
By the way, from here it’s less than a 10-minute walk to the beach—just head straight through the bustling pedestrian zone.
