There are several bus stops located walking distance from the apartment! Great for guests who want an easy to get to apartment from NYC or to visit family around the area. This is a property in the basement . Door directly facing the garbage refuse area. The stairway to get to this basement apartment is very steep and unclean, there were cockroaches roaming around outside the apartment, the apartment itself was decent on the inside . The location is good too. How ever the garbage refuse area and the unclean stairway downstairs are very off putting . This again may / may not be in the host’s control, hence the 4 stars.

It was clean. Some mentioned the trash room being next to it, that wasn't a problem for us. It was a good place to stay for visiting NYC. We stayed 10 days. When we were running low on towels, tp and trash bags they brought us more. The only issue we had that I didn't mention to the host was the bathroom sink didn't drain well so we brushed our teeth in the kitchen. It would be nice if they had a few more kitchen supplies. There was salt, but it was chunky and solid. Would've been nice to have salt and pepper shakers. Also would've been nice to have some extra supplies like trash bags and tp on hand so we didn't have to ask for more. They were responsive and it was pretty comfortable.

The listing was as advertised. The location was tricky to get to and made harder because it was dark when we got there. ( down a dark alley and needed to unlock a lock box).
