Remodel house. New kitchen, beds, living room, baths, terrace, but preserving nature and it's quiteness
The house is located five minutes (walking) from the town square and two blocks away from the viewpoint. It is an ideal place to rest, to observe nature from the internal terrace and to discover one of the most wonderful places in Colombia.
The house has a traditional architecture and has an internal forest that helps to find peace and tranquility. It is located in a very quiet spot within Salento and is very close to all the services and attractions that this city has to deliver.

We stayed at Casa La María for 2 nights, the house has a lot of character, bedrooms were ok. Beds comfortable enough and covers to keep you warm at night. Bathrooms clean, hot water takes a little bit to come out but it works. Kitchen is outdoor, we didn’t use it, we did hear racoons in the early morning digging through the garbage. Short walk to the plaza. Communication with host was easy.

What a fantastic place to stay when visiting Salento, off the busy main street offers you a traditional little town Colombian house with a very unexpected interior. This house is perched in the mountain!! The outside living room area and kitchen are amazing outside but inside at the same time. The view, the feel of nature, the birds not only flying around but chirping. Communication with the host and administrator Adriana was superb. I will definitely come back to stay at this house. This house was amazing. Everything was just like the description. It exceeded our expectations. Definitely will come back to this place and recommending this place to everyone.
