We had a great vacation at the Lane House! The location was amazing and the house had everything we needed.

The house was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and it was a fun treat to see the deer and wild turkeys wander by throughout the day. The close proximity to the beach was a nice bonus. We were within 20-30 minutes driving of wherever we wanted to go on the north fork.

Peaceful, relaxing, serene escape from the daily grind of the City.
Short five minute walk to a private beach which you had to yourself or could count the occupants on one hand. (I love shoulder seasons to escape the din & noise of the Summer crowds).
The home was well kept, well stocked and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay.
My coworkers & friends were able to kick back, relax, enjoy each other’s company, grill, tan, sip coffee on the deck and/or beach, read, even work and basically just have a good time.
Highly recommend for location (furthest point on northeast of Long Island).
My favorite: Sunset @ Orient State Park overlooking Long Island Sound.

This house was perfect! Lots of space for our family and the location is wonderful. The house is only about 2 blocks from the Long Island Sound and very close to a large state park. The owner were very responsive.
