the artist residence is literally the most awesome place to stay. i travel the world since decades but this was the most amazing experience. we felt to be at home away from home from the first minute. the hosts are such lovely people and we had such a lovely time there.
they managed to fulfill all our needs and even baked and cooked vegan dishes for us.
the garden is so peaceful and quiet. the rooms are wonderful and the beds extremely comfortable.
we can't wait to come back.

The daily breakfast (a 3 course meal with daily variation) was the highlight of our stay. It is so good and hearty that we often only needed an afternoon or evening snack for the rest of the day. Begona and David were wondering hosts and helped us whenever we needed a question answered. They and the other guests offered great conversations during breakfast and when we bumped into each other later in the day.

Hosts were super nice, breakfast was great, the house is beautiful and it's a super quiet neighborhood with easy public transit access to either Dublin downtown or Howth

Clarissa and her husband were so helpful and sweet to us while there. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We were so thankful we found this spot to end our vacation in Ireland.
We didn't book a longer time there. So much to see and experience. the ocean is just across the street. Sunshine would have made it a bit more perfect.

Loved the wonderful hospitality of Begonia, the owner. Her warm and welcoming touches were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious each day. She also made us a breakfast to go on our last morning as we had to leave early. It was great to see the beautiful artwork. I will treasure the one I chose, depicting "Lucy's" room as it was adorable and hand painted by Begonia. We also loved the beautiful location, away from the city.

Great hideout with seaview. Super nice, super friendly hosts, great breackfast, exceptional vibe.
Everything was great; due to the layout of the rooms/the house there was not too much space (esp. in the bath). If you are a litle bit taller, you have to watch your head sometimes.

The property was spotlessly clean. It was tastefully decorated with great attention to detail throughout. David & Begona were exceptional hosts & nothing was too much trouble.

I would recommend The Artist Residence to anyone and everyone that enjoys being pampered and spoiled. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I might need or enjoy. The breakfast was excellent every morning.

Begonia and Dave were wonderful; the home was delightful and location proved perfect for our visit to Howth plus business in Dublin Centre. We struck a fine friendship and we shall be back.
Super home cooking treats far too good for breakfast - would have loved them in the afternoon after walks / business meetings.
