About Cranes Roost
Cranes Roost is a pet-friendly beach vacation rental home nestled in the prestigious Sandhill Townhomes gated community located on a private lane, just off of South 11th Street in Port Aransas, Texas. It is centrally located to beaches, bays, shops, dining, and of course, saltwater fishing! This charming 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath is a three-story townhome with garage and Casita (efficiency apartment) located on the lower level. There is not an elevator, each floor is accessible via stairs. The second floor is where you will find the main living area with two balconies, a well-stocked kitchen, dining table, and powder room. Upstairs, on the third floor, are the master en-suite (with peek-a-boo ocean views from the balcony) and large guest en-suite. There is a full size washer and dryer located in the hallway between the bedrooms. The second and third floors are zone climate controlled with thermostats on each floor. The Casita has it s own in-wall air conditioner.

Living Area
The living area is on the second floor and accessible via stairs. The living area features a large balcony and plenty of room to lounge and relax during your stay. There is a 60 Roku television with satellite service and secure WIFI. Sleeping arrangements include a queen size sleeper sofa and futon. The powder room is located at the living room entry.
Kitchen Dining
Cranes Roost has a well-stocked kitchen and is equipped with full-size appliances and all the basics you will need for dining in during your stay. There is a Keurig Duo coffee maker to get your morning started and a dining table for six (6). A balcony overlooking the backyard is located off the kitchen/dining area.
Upstairs Primary En-suite
The master bedroom offers a plush king size bed, 42 flat screen TV with satellite service, a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo, large walk-in closet, and a third-floor balcony offering peek-a-boo views of the Gulf of Mexico.
Upstairs Guest Bedroom
The guest bedroom is outfitted with a queen size bed, two reach-in closet spaces, and a 32 flat screen TV with satellite service. There is a privacy door to a full size bathroom with shower.
The Casita
The Casita (efficiency apartment) is located downstairs with its own private entrance. It offers a kitchenette with mini fridge,
full-size bed, and 42 flat screen TV with satellite service. There is a full-size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The air conditioner is an in-wall unit.
Outdoor Areas
As a guest of Cranes Roost, you will have easy access to Sandhill Townhomes community heated pool, hot tub, sun deck, and pool-side charcoal BBQ pits. Pool-side charcoal BBQ pits are first come, first serve. Charcoal is NOT provided.

Please do not park a vehicle in the garage. There are two assigned parking spaces in front of the townhome. Additional unassigned parking along the fence.
Cooking OR Smoking inside the property or on the balcony is NOT permitted. Please use the pool side BBQ pits
All parties must be 25 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent
Pets are limited to 2 (two) dogs. Pet fee must be added to reservation booking and paid.

Home needs some maintenance. Master bath , shower not working. Doors are hard to close, window coverings missing in Master. Fire alarms need new batteries/replacement in secondary bedroom. Pool and spa lovely. Dog park not maintained by all residents/visitors.

We stayed for 13 days and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool was heated which was hard to find but it was a little to warm we thought. If we get to come back we will stay here again.

Great quite place. Nice pool and HOT hot tub. Close to 3 beaches. Very clean. But the stairs are not made for the elderly. It was hard getting 2 (70) ladies and their canes up and down them to get to the living area.

Wish property had more kitchen utensils, pots and pans. One of the bathrooms had a terrible smell. Wished it would have been cleaned up better. Some light fixtures were missing light bulbs. And it's definitely not a place for people with bad knees it's a three floor condo so I was exhausted by the end of my trip from going up and down the stairs!
