Imagine finding a lakefront house where you can reconnect with family and friends, surrounded by beautiful Norris Lake views out of every room. Imagine staying in a home with vaulted wood ceilings with a cabin feeling and all the modern conveniences of a modern resort. Our home helps good friends and families make memories from the minute they step foot on our property.
Our home is nestled on the wooded property with mature trees surrounding our cedar sided home. The home looks and feels like you are in nature.
The home has STRONG Wi-Fi in the home & at the Patio & Dock. DishTV cable throughout the living areas & bedrooms.
Open Floor plan on the main floor with vaulted all wood walls and exposed beam ceilings invite you into nature on Norris Lake. Our 2700 sqft, 3 story cedar lakefront home can accommodate 20 people. The main level has a full wall of windows that have breathtaking westerly views of Norris Lake with breathtaking sunsets. The main level has an open concept with a large living room with a Flagstone wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV that is open to the dining area with a large dining room table that can accommodate at least 8 people. The kitchen is a chef’s delight with modern appliances and décor and includes two stainless steel refrigerators, electric stove, microwave, Bosch dishwasher and 2 coffee makers (drip and Keurig). The kitchen has all the pots, pans, cookware and everything a chef or baker would need to feel at home. There is enough plates and utensils for 20 people. There is a full bathroom on the main level with a brand new Stand-Up shower and jetted jacuzzi bathtub, vanity and toilet. The jetted tub has a full 180º view of the lake.
On the lower level there is a second living room with 2 full glass sliding doors with views of the lake. The lower-level living room has a couch, a lazy boy recliner and flat screen TV. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level. One Bedroom is the Master bedroom with a sliding glass door that is two steps away from the Hot Tub. The master has a king size bed and two dressers along with a flat screen TV and ample closet space. The second bedroom has a full glass sliding door to the lower deck with a queen size bed, dresser. flat screen TV and ample closet space. The third bedroom on the lower level has a queen size bed along with a twin bed, flat screen TV, dresser and closet. There is a full bathroom on the lower level with an oversized standup shower, double vanity and toilet.
On the upper loft level there are 11 additional beds (1 king, 1 queen, 5 double, 4 twin) plus two couches. There are also several dressers and nightstands for storage. There is a Foosball table in the loft. There is a full bathroom with a full tub/ shower, vanity and toilet.
There are two fully covered decks off the back off the house with full views on the main channel of the lake. There is a 12' x 12' swim platform attached to the dock with 2 ladders to the lake. The upper deck has a BBQ, two tables and plenty of chairs. The lower deck has a 9-person jetted Jacuzzi. The Outdoor Jacuzzi water is changed before every renter gets to the house. There is a table and chairs on the lower deck along with ample seating as well as a hammock for relaxing with main channel views!
From the lower deck there are stairs down to a paver patio with a full wood burning firepit with a full table and chairs. There is a sectional sofa with seating for 8 people on the patio & a table to use for card games and to hold your drinks! From this patio you are a few stairs away from the Covered two boat dock with full power. The dock has two wells and two jet ski docks. We provide 4 kayaks for our guests to use while staying at the house. There is great fishing and swimming right off the dock. The dock also has a swim ladder. We are right on the main channel with great water skiing right out back. This is one of the cleanest lakes in the US. Fishing spots for striped bass is just around the bend. We are 10 minutes away from 3 marinas (and bar/ restaurants) by water (Whitman Hollow, Sequoyah Marina, and Indian River) and 20 minutes from Shanghai, Deerfield, Twin Cove and Springs. Our location on Norris ideal for fun boating trips to the best spots on the lake!

This house had everything we needed. The kids had a blast all sleeping together in the loft. We had to be a little quiet at times after the youngest went to sleep but it wasn't a problem. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed having the boat docked and the swimming area off of the dock with a ladder. We made smores one night in the fire pit. We brought wood but didn't need to, a lot there. There are 91 steps from the dock to the middle floor, quite a workout but in my 70s and it wasn't a problem. The driveway was a bit of challenge at first, very steep. We drove in on the road with a boat and had to back out because we couldn't get turned around. We figured it out but keep that in mind if you have a large boat. This is a home which you can tell is enjoyed and cared for. We felt at home here and I think you will too.

The stay was great, but there seemed to be an ant problem in the kitchen and there was a stair on the stairway to the lake with an x taped on it. It was completely loose . We had to be very careful to avoid it. It would have been quite a fall. Otherwise lots of fun. Liked the layout of the house and we had beautiful weather!

Family/friend trip for a few days on the lake. The place was perfect. Rented a boat from Whitman’s Hollow marina which is 5-10 minute boat ride away and a good place to gas up. Jet ski’s were a blast and close to some great places on the lake (jump rock and swing ropes).

Space more than adequate for large groups, and the private dock was a big convenience. However, there are some shortcomings with the property that are worth knowing prior to booking:- the majority of the beds are in the lofted area, which has 2 dedicated wall AC units. However, one of them is broken, which means this area can get very warm. When I messaged the owner, his response was that the broken AC unti has been out since he's owned the property and that the box fans provided give enough air flow. It was in the low 90's when we stayed, and the loft area was consistently warm during our stay. - listing states the property has DishTV cable, but we were unable to locate any of the TV remotes. When we figured out how to turn on the TV in the living room, we found out there was no cable. When I messaged the owner asking him about the cable and missing remotes, his response was the cable had been disconneted but we could stream our on shows because they were all smart TVs. However, this required the remotes, so the TVs weren't usable.- fooseball table was missing the ball, which was replaced by a ping pong ball- coffee maker was broken and would spill over when using the pot. It appeared the issue had happened before; there were water stains going down the cabinet where it sits- multiple spots with mold/mildew, including the upstairs shower curtain and the washing machine- trash can lid in the kitchen was broken- fire extinguisher in kitchen was empty
