PLEASE NOTE: LAKESIDE HAS GATE FEES FROM MEMORIAL DAY THROUGH LABOR DAY. If you are new to Lakeside, please acquaint yourself with them before booking.
We have loved Lakeside for 40 years and we are happy to offer our place for you to use responsibly. The price listed is for up to six people. For eight people and an up charge, the Great Room can be opened up where there are two twin beds. Also in the Great Room there are 2 reclining sofas, a fieldstone fireplace with gas logs, and a large screen TV. Price for the added Great Room is $1660 Weekly. (The pictures showing the fireplace, twin beds and red sofas are shown here but, again, that room is for extra rental, not basic rental.)
Without the Great Room there are three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and one with a full size bed. The Master BR has an en suite and there is an additional bath that serves the other two bedrooms. There are room air conditioners that are able to manage the square footage. There is a relaxing sun room, a dining area, well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and gas grill.
If you have been to Lakeside you know the relaxing atmosphere it offers. If you are a first-timer, be sure to visit LakesideOhio.com to explore what this gated community has to offer. THERE ARE GATE FEES TO BE INSIDE THE GATE FROM Memorial Day THROUGH Labor Day, so be sure to check it out. Also the seven day minimum stay applies for the IN-season only - June through Labor Day. Off-season, two night minimum stay.
Note: Guests supply own sheets and towels.

Excellent property at one of my favorite places in the world! This cottage is conveniently located in the middle of Lakeside, which is the perfect jumping off point to walk or roll in any direction. Communication with this host is outstanding. There was one issue where WE pulled the chain on a fan that unfortunately disconnected, and the host asked permission to have the fan repaired while we were still onsite - all was repaired in less than 24 hours. Clear instructions for check in and departure. Nice outdoor patio furniture set. My husband worked from the cottage and the internet connection was flawless. Kitchen was well-equipped for us to cook each day, and enjoy family meals around the dinner table. The cleaning service must do a wonderful job because the space was very clean! We also had access to washer/dryer which was awesome. Our kids are both elementary age and Lakeside is a delight. So much to explore. Cherry Park has a brand new, large playground, only 4 blocks from this cottage. Best public pool anywhere, 3 blocks away. Ice cream by the lake every night. We can't wait to return!

This is our favorite place to stay in Lakeside! The cottage is just perfect and we look forward to our trips so much! The owner is always very communicative and attentive. The home is located in a quiet spot with easy access to the lakefront. We will return as often as possible!
