This property is located on the airstrip in downtown Talkeetna just minutes walk to Main Street, the Susitna River, and most of the amenities available in town. Joe, the host, was responsive and positive to all of our requests. The house is a log cabin that is well maintained, stocked with most everything you would need, and we found it to be clean and tidy.

We had the most relaxing and energizing trip at The Airstrip. May be the best hot tub in the state. Comfortable living area and well appointed kitchen with espresso! Sleeping was a dream with modern comfortable king beds. We enjoyed daily saunas and plenty of reading. Walking distance to town and great access to skiing and fat biking trails around Talkeetna. Excellent winter destination!

Stayed here with my husband and kids. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the small planes take off and land. Very short walk to Main Street with lots of good food. House is beautifully upgraded and has all the amenities. Hope to come back one day.

My wife, son, and good friends stayed at the cabin this winter and absolutely loved it! The cabin is perfect walking distance to everything in town and also secluded enough so that we felt as if we were all alone. The bedrooms, kitchen, living room were all very spacious. It was a treat to also sit in the sauna in the mornings/evenings. The owner was very responsive and very easy to work with. I would 100% recommend staying here and hope we will again in the future.
