Boston House, sleeps 15 in 7 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms. This classic Lake District house has a large kitchen, 7-seat hot tub in a private area and a 15-seat cinema in the cellar. Located close to Windermere the property is ideally placed for walking into the village with all of its cafes, restaurants and bars.
The house features a lounge with large leather Chesterfield sofas, Smart TV and a living flame gas fire. The dining room seats up to 15 guests. The large kitchen has a central island unit, a large electric range cooker, 2 dishwashers and everything you need to cook up a splendid meal for your guests. The cellar is home to our 15-seat cinema with 75 inch Smart TV. Upstairs there are 7 bedrooms, 5 are ensuite, there are 2 separate bathrooms one on each floor.
Outside there is a rear courtyard garden with a private 7-seat hot tub. At the front of the property, there is parking for up to 8 cars. There is access to a fast EV charger located on the wall of the maintenance building.
We welcome up to 4 dogs at the property. There is an additional charge per dog, which can be added at check-out.

Some parts a little worn and not too clean. The hot tub, in particular, is a bit of a health hazard when it comes to moving the lid on and off, rooms a little dated and one of the toilets hadn't been cleaned from previous guests. For a group of 10, there was plenty of room, good amenities and its a very short walk from town. For the price paid, feel it could do with a little updating, but nice for a group trip away.

Beautiful house in an idyllic location, stayed for 5 days and the house was the perfect base for our adventures.

Absolutely magnificent.Boston House exceeded my expectations in all respects.I needed a place to accommodate my family of 12, with facilities to self cater, in a location convenient for walks, pubs and shops. This place ticked all of those boxes.The house is much bigger than I anticipated in that all the rooms are large. Although this might be clear from the listing, it was still fantastic to be able to seat all of us around the dining table. On one morning we were all able to sit at the picnic tables outside for breakfast.The kitchen is big with 2 fridges, 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers. There is ample crockery, cutlery, pans, glasses, baking trays and baking dishes. This made self catering easy, with workspace for several of us to prep at the same time. Two sinks and dishwashers also made it easy to clear up and keep the kitchen tidy.The bedrooms are beautiful, with lots of space, great bedding and very comfortable beds. All the adults in our group had ensuite bathrooms. The younger ones delighted in the hot tub and the cinema room. Even the lounge was big enough for us all to sit in comfort.We could not have wished for a better venue to hold our celebration weekend and we will be looking for an opportunity to return.
