Within an authentic early 19th-century farmhouse, Françoise and Jean have passionately renovated this former cider press to offer you a remarkable holiday retreat! Keen to preserve a bygone atmosphere, the owners have skillfully incorporated antique materials, the building's original features, and décor based on family heirlooms, such as the beautiful 1836 wardrobe. This "family home" feel creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for cozying up by the wood-burning stove or enjoying meals in the lovely azure blue kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable, featuring a king-size bed in the master bedroom or two antique 100x190cm metal beds. A history enthusiast, Jean will tell you all about the Cotentin peninsula and the treasures of this perfectly preserved architectural ensemble (the pond, the bread oven, the outbuildings, etc.). The owners' garden provides a stunning setting and an ideal haven for birds, a passion shared by Françoise, an amateur ornithologist.
