A perfect getaway for the two of us! The location- just a quick walk to the beach, a great view of the ocean while sitting on the deck- was fantastic. The bed was the most comfortable we've found in a rental. We loved the big comfy couch to watch tv and nap. We made great use of the grill on our first night. The wagon, chairs and beach towels were nice to have for beach trips. While we didn't need any beach toys, we were impressed with the selection available. Communication with the host was easy and helpful.Frustrations: The patio door leaked when it rained. The front door is in need of cleaning- the mold and dirt weren't a good first impression. The outdoor shower would have been nice to actually use more than a foot rinse, but there were too many chairs taking up the space.Going into town: We checked out the Texas Surf Museum (My dad's first surf trophy is displayed), La King's for ice cream, and Gaido's for anniversary dinner. All in all, we would rent this home again for the two of us!

We had a great experience in this well-located home!

We rent a house every year in Galveston. This is the best house we’ve rented from Pirates Beach community. Perfect location, easy quick walk to beach, beautiful view of ocean from balcony, very clean and extremely well stocked and organized for guests. Very easy check in and great communication by hosts.

The house is just beautiful; exactly as described. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again! Our hosts, Jesica and George, were attentive to every detail and need. Not only that, the home has everything you need! From kitchen appliances to kids toys to board games to beach chairs, beach tent, beach toys, etc. Everything is labeled for easy identification and it’s clear that the hosts have set up the home with care, love and detail for the guests. Can’t leave without saying that the decor is stunning. Congratulations Jesica and George!
