Homely and stylish holiday home featuring your own private hot tub. With open plan/lounge area and fully equipped kitchen with a modern finish. with one double and one twin. There is also additional sleeping for two in the lounge area. There is a shower room with a shower cubicle. This holiday home is double glazed and centrally heated. Maximum 2 adults and 2 children. No pets.. Set in the picturesque countryside, the Royal Arch Holiday Park in Aberdeenshire has stunning collection of holiday homes and lodges with your very own outdoor hot tub.
There are panoramic views at the foot of the Scottish Highlands with plenty of activities nearby including fishing, golf and outdoor adventures from Paddle Boarding, Axe Throwing or Rock Climbing with the Glenshee Ski Centre in easy reach too or if you’re looking for something a little slower in pace then Royal Arch Park is close to some of the most spectacular castles in Scotland, including Queen Elizabeth II’s Balmoral and Dunnottar Castles.
There are many golf courses, from Montrose to Trump Golf Course, and the spectacular sandy beaches of St Cyrus which stretch for 3 miles are within easy reach.. One of the most beautiful places I've stayed in Scotland. Such a quiet peaceful place, (if you're looking for entertainment and nightlife this isn't for you) however if you want to relax and listen to nature then this is definitely worth a visit. The lodge itself was beautiful and clean, the only downside was the bed, it was so uncomfortable, other than that it was perfect. It has an amazing big grassy field for kids to run and play football, a little sand park for smaller kids and lovely surroundings for nature walks. I would 100% return and recommend.

We stayed in Black Craig lodge which overall was great. It was clean, warm and fairly well resourced. Some small touches would have raised this review from 4 to 5 stars. There was a lack of any sort of welcome brochure and no welcome pack ( no tea, coffee, sugar or milk to get us started for example). There was no dish towel or cloth to wipe surfaces down and no oven glove. Though there was a dishwasher the lack of sufficient cutlery ( only 2 teaspoons for example) meant that this had to be hand washed. The sink tap is beginning to work loose and the bathroom fan stopped working during our stay. The lights in the fire weren’t working. The beds could use thick mattress toppers to make the less uncomfortable to sleep upon. That said, the lodge overall was lovely and the hot tub super. We would definitely stay here again
