Hello! We are CUBO'S HOLIDAY HOMES, specialising in holiday accommodation since 2005.
This cosy rural accommodation in Adamuz offers a perfect space to disconnect and enjoy yourself at any time of year. It features a private sunny swimming pool practically all day long, ideal for leisure and relaxation with family or friends. The house has 4 bedrooms and capacity for 7 people, with staggered opening of rooms according to the number of guests: the 3rd bedroom opens from 5 people onwards and the 4th for 7, with a supplement applied from the 5th person onwards. Air conditioning is available in the lounge, complemented by ceiling fans to maintain a pleasant temperature.
The accommodation features a spacious lounge with a fireplace that invites conviviality, as well as an independent and fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances, including refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher and coffee maker, perfect for preparing any meal. It has two bathrooms with shower trays, distributed for the comfort of all guests. The bedrooms are bright and well-ventilated, with three double rooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds) and a single bedroom, all with sufficient space to store luggage neatly.
Situated in a small hollow next to a stream, the house is surrounded by century-old olive trees and offers incredible views of both the mountain and the garden. Access is via a winding dirt track of about 300 metres, which guarantees a peaceful and private setting. Furthermore, the terrace and viewpoint with outdoor furniture allow you to enjoy nature and unforgettable moments in the open air.
Adamuz is a privileged enclave in the heart of Andalusia, with easy access to the Madrid-Seville motorway and less than 25 minutes from Córdoba, a monumental city to visit. It is also well situated for day trips to Jaén, Granada, Málaga, Seville, Úbeda and Baeza. The town is known for its production of quality olive oil under the Montoro-Adamuz Designation of Origin, as well as being an ideal destination for astrotourism thanks to being part of the Sierra Morena Starlight Reserve. Photography and nature lovers will find multiple opportunities to capture images of local fauna, such as the Iberian lynx, and the beautiful landscapes of the area.
Outside, you will enjoy a fenced plot with 90 m² of terrace, garden furniture, barbecue and an outdoor ironing area where you can prepare lunches. The private pool is visible from the outdoor areas so you can keep an eye on the children whilst they have fun. For safety reasons, charcoal or wood fires are not permitted, nor is the use of the wood-fired oven.
The accommodation has heat pump heating, wifi, mosquito nets on all windows, outdoor parking in the same building and a television for entertainment. It is an ideal space for families with children and for those seeking an authentic rural experience with all modern comforts.

Likewise, guests of CUBO'S HOLIDAY HOMES can enjoy EARLY CHECK-IN and LATE CHECK-OUT upon request, provided that the reservation calendar and scheduled cleanings permit it.

The pictures and description on the web site make Casa Rural Mar Verde look idyllic and in reality it was just as good, and maybe even better than we had hoped for. The outdoor area worked really well providing shade if needed throughout the day, and allowing communal time as well as time on your own. The pool and outdoor dining area work really well.
Inside, the house was very clean and cool during the day. The kitchen is functional with a good selection of crockery and glassware, and all the appliances you need.
The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms and showers good.
Perhaps the best thing is the wonderful setting - in the middle of olive groves. you are completely secluded and surrounded by amazing birdlife all day and into the evening. The tower provided the perfect place to end the day over a glass of wine.
Lorenza, the host, was really helpful and quick to respond when we had a couple of minor problems with electricity and plumbing. Thank you.
These are only minor issues in the context of a truly wonderful stay:
1. We were only a group of four and understood that we would only have access to two of the bedrooms - but didnt know which ones until we arrived. It would be nice to know in advance, or to be able to choose on arrival.
2. We managed ok but an additional one or two saucepans would have been helpful.
3. The sunbeds around the pool are functional but not the same quality as the other outdoor furniture.
To repeat, these are only minor issues that wouldn't stop us coming back.

The place is fantastic. The house is clean, and has everything you need. The surriundings are beautiful. The problem is that the booking process is run by a company and not the actual owners. There's an excessive deposit required and renters have no choice but to pay it and sign an additional set of check-in rules. All of this happens after you book so you cannot get a refund if you choose not to accept. the owners, were very nice upon meeting with them personally. Whomever is responding on behalf of Cubos is not politerespectful. The owners also required an additional $20 pet deposit. Theres also an additional cleaning fee, if not cleaned to their satisfaction, but they dont tell what their standard is so we ended up cleaning better than we received it. All of this equates to hassles that just make it harder than checking into a hotel.

The Villa is on a very private location - 600m off-road from the next paved road. You better take a 4x4 to this location. Only one neighbour otherwise you are in the middle of an olive field. There is no landlinefiber connection for internet. The WiFi runs over cellular connection - not sufficient for home office. Lorenza was an excellent host who helped us get original olive oil from the local farmers union.
