The house is located on the plain in the peaceful village of Abbazia, in the municipality of Prunelli-di-Fium’Orbu. It is surrounded by a beautiful, enclosed garden with lush vegetation, offering views of “Monte Rinosu” (2,352 m) and the village of Prunelli, perched on its rocky outcrop at an elevation of 583 m. The village overlooks the plain with a panoramic view—probably one of the most breathtaking in the entire Eastern Plain—and offers a true window onto the sea. Between the sea and the mountains, halfway between Bastia and Bonifacio, the “Costa Serena” is a strategic and pleasant hub for anyone wishing to explore Corsica. Practical information: the house is located ten meters from a convenience store: “Utile” (bakery, butcher shop…), so you won’t need a car to run errands. Also nearby is a sports complex with five tennis courts. The gently sloping beaches are ideal for children and offer a magnificent view of the majestic Aiguilles de Bavella! The Pinia Forest and the Diana and Urbinu ponds are set in an exceptional natural setting and are classified as remarkable landscapes! These areas are notably known for their oysters and mussels year-round, so don’t hesitate—come and enjoy them right there during your stay! Numerous hiking trails lead to the famous GR20 (Catastaghju in the town of San Gavinu di Fium’orbu, Isulacciu, etc.). Many rivers and streams wind through a varied and densely forested landscape. Take the opportunity to swim in the natural pools and sit at the base of the waterfalls found all around our region. Corsica is a land of contrasts with a complex beauty!
