This unit is equipped with remote operated hurricane shutters. We have a camera installed outside on the balcony trained at the outside bottom of the sliding glass door to confirm storm shutters are closed. A second beach cam is used for weather purposes aimed at the horizon.

We absolutely loved staying in this condo and if we ever come back to Cocoa beach, we will stay here again. You could not beat the view; it was perfect! You could see the Space Center launch pads right from the balcony and we got to watch a rocket launch. Also there are several restaurants / bars right within walking distance that were excellent and made it fun because we literally could sit on the balcony in the evenings and listen to the live music. This condo is right in the heart of where all the action is happening. It was also very comfortable and felt just like home. The only downside was that the elevator broke the day before we were going to check out so we had to use the stairwell that day and it's on the 5th floor and since we're not young chickens anymore, that kind of wore us out. But luckily there were maintenance guys there the very next day and it was fixed so it was a minor inconvenience. The condo was very clean, the beds were comfy and it had everything we needed. Also the communication from the host was excellent!

Cameras on balcony were a shock. Place definitely needs a good cleaning. Loved being down town great restaurants
