The Old Watermill is a beautifully renovated 18th Century Watermill in the picturesque harbour town of Fowey in Cornwall. The Old Watermill is set in a peaceful location at the top of a pretty country lane right on the Saints Way, one mile from Fowey Town and Harbour making it a great spot for walkers and sailors.
The Old Watermill is a large stone building but we have subdivided it into the three bedroom Mill House for up to six Guests. For larger groups of up to ten Guests you will also have the two bedroom adjoining Cottage which has it's own entrance, sitting room and kitchen.
The Old Watermill offers guests the best of both worlds - 21st century creature comforts including hot powerful showers, free WiFi, fabulous farmhouse style kitchen/diner and high quality beds and bedding, all within the historic beauty of an 18th Century Cornish stone building. Luxury accommodation sleeps up to ten guests in five double bedrooms - two of which can be configured as superking doubles or twin singles.
Our guests love the large country style kitchen with dining for up to ten people - and the kitchen has full width bi-fold doors which open onto the garden terrace creating a seamless transition between in/out living. Leisurely lunches on the terrace are further enhanced by a view of the pond and garden which provides a lovely back-drop to the outside eating area. A great space for entertaining groups of family and friends; whether out on the terrace on a lovely sunny day or inside at the farmhouse kitchen table when the weather is not so kind!

My family and I had an amazing week in the Old Watermill. The property is really special and kitted out beautifully. We had a full range of ages staying and everyone had a great time.
We had no issues during the week, but Sophie was on hand when we had questions and needed help with anything.
Every roomis beautifully appointed and we had a great time cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the garden and the children loved the den where they could set up and play on their devices.
Bedrooms were very comfortable and there a plenty of facilities, which is useful for a party of 9. We enjoyed visiting Fowey (highly recommend Sam's and the Ship) and Par beach.
Overall - highly recommended.

Stunning property and gardens, excellent facilities, clean and decorated to an extremely high standard. Everything you could need was provided. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely love to return next year. The 5 star review really doesn't do the property justice. An absolutely beautiful find, if you book to stay here you won't be disappointed.

A place fully suited to our extended family of 9. The magnificent gardens became part of our living quarters when we opened the patio doors. Unusually high temps were encountered for UK but the large opening patio doors allowed circulation of air and an al fresco feel to the kitchen.

The Old Watermill is a beautiful property set in a quiet location but within walking distance to Fowey. The house is well equipped for a large family and everything is very high quality. There is a wide selection of DVDs which came in handy as the weather wasn’t the best during our stay and overall we had a great time. The only downside is the road leading to the property is very narrow which made it difficult sometimes and parking in Fowey is pretty much impossible during the summer months so you need to plan your day carefully. All in all it is a beautiful property and perfect for a large family stay,
