"La Casina" was created by renovating an old barn on the Casaburo farm, which has been in the family for generations.
The stone building stays naturally cool but is equipped with air conditioning and heating. It features a well-equipped kitchen, a shaded patio with a table and chairs, and a 2,000-square-meter garden, enclosed by dry-stone walls, for the exclusive use of guests.
The Masseria, situated in a panoramic location between the sea (ten kilometers away) and the hills of the Itria Valley, consists of a main building housing the manor house, old stables, a group of trulli with a large courtyard dating back to 1690, a large threshing floor made of local stone, and a shady pine forest.
Let us introduce ourselves: we are Luciana and Dodi, the owners. We live on the farm and love sharing the secrets of the area with our guests, pointing out lesser-known places of interest, small shops, local weekly markets, and quaint little restaurants.
At Masseria Casaburo, farming (strictly organic) is the main focus. Guests can stroll through its 27 hectares of centuries-old olive groves and almond orchards. We produce extra virgin olive oil, almonds, and carob.
