Lido Sunset is an apartment in the main tourist district of Funchal, close to the sea and is ideal for two people.
The apartment has an interior area of 34 m2 and a terrace of 10 m2 on the 1st floor of a residential building (one floor above the main entrance floor).
The building has a common parking area.
The apartment has a small living area with a sofa, dining table and kitchenette, a bathroom and two single beds.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, washing machine, stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The property is in a residential area at the main touristic district of Funchal. Within 5-minutes’ walk there are several restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and attraction centres. It is 250 meters from Ponta Gorda swimming facility, 400 meters from Forum Madeira Shopping Centre and 900 meters from the Lido Swimming Complex via the Lido Promenade.
The apartment has easy pedestrian access to seaside Lido Promenade, bus stops near the building and is easy to drive from and to the major roads.
REMARKS
Free parking on premises is subject to availability. If parking on premises is not available, there is a paid parking lot at 200 meters, and it is possible authorized street parking nearby.
The building is in a residential complex, but there is potential traffic noise, particularly during the day and if the windows are open.
We ask all guests to keep food well packaged to avoid attracting insects due to the island's climate.
Cleaning is done before guests arrive and then a weekly maintenance cleaning is carried out, which includes changing bed linen and towels.
Construction work is underway to renovate nearby apartments, which may cause temporary noise during the day.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. Any malfunctions, incidents or faults in the initial cleaning must be reported as soon as they are detected so that they can be checked and addressed in a timely manner during the stay. Issues reported late for the sole purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.
6. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.

All in all, it was a good spot in a great location.I’ll start with the negatives since there’s not many to list:Check in was a bit of a process. You can’t pull the car in with out a gate key card which you have to get into the building, find the lock box, and then grab the key and the card to get the car in. I originally didn’t receive a code to get into the building so it was a little confusing and frustrating. With that being said, we checked in very late so we had to do everything via a phone call. Otherwise there is someone to help. If you come late like we did she was always available to receive my phone calls and ensured we were checked in with zero issues. Next issue, the beds. Not the end of the world but if you have a bad back it’s definitely not helping.And the shower is really small. I’m about 5 ft 3 inches and 135 and it was a tight fit. Also never any parking available on site but there is a garage nearby and it’s only 10 euros a night to park. Now for the positives:Phenomenal location with a great view.Everything was clean.Washer with detergent and a clothes drying rack.Equipped kitchen.Pool patio has PHENOMENAL VIEWS. But pool was def out of commission. Host was extremely helpful.Roomy closet to put all your stuff in so you can still enjoy the space with out it being cluttered with your travel stuff. Right by a community complex with pickle ball and bars and a lot of local people just hanging out. Running out of words but 100% give it a go.

A great balcony/ terrace with an uninterupted view of the sea.
Small which made cooking difficult. Ideal for a short break but was too compact for an extended stay.
