Sunset Apartment is located out in our barn on the far right. It has 2 bedrooms on the second floor, (with a staircase) one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with a full bed. The bedrooms do not have windows, but there is an emergency door in the one bedroom. It will sleep 4 comfortably, but we do allow 5 people. It has 1 bathroom on the main floor with a tile shower. Just outside the bathroom is a washer and a dryer also a closet with a cot, folding chairs, games, magazines, and extra pillows and blankets. We provide towels and linens. There is a fully furnished kitchen a small table with 4 chairs, a bar with 2 stools. The living area has 1 couch. Complimentary coffee and a few snacks.

Farm animals. (Miniature horses, cows at times, Snowball the cat) Backyard Patio with a fire pit and a removable grill. Playground area. Hammock and Dbl. lawn swing. Above ground pool during the summer months. Trails throughout the woods. Another fire pit back in our wooded area.
CELL SERVICE/TECHNOLOGY: We have Starlink Internet with the smart TV connected to it. Bring your own TV subscriptions. There is also a Samsung DVD player (bring your favorite DVDs). We have Spectrum phones, which use Verizon towers and do pretty good. Inside the apt. cell service isn’t the greatest because of the metal building. Connect to the internet and do WiFi calling. We do encourage a break from technology to totally unwind.

The apartment is extremely clean and very comfortable and set up very well. Norma and Phil are easy to talk to and communication was smooth. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and would have loved to use the firepit but was rained out. The ponies and kitten were fun to watch and we're friendly. Everything you would need is provided. The beds were comfy too. Would definitely stay again!!

This property exceeded my expectations. Incredible value for the price. A great home base for exploring the Hocking Hills.

We truly could not have picked a better place for our 2 year old’s very first vacation. It had the perfect balance of feeling tucked away and relaxing while still being just a short drive from all of the Hocking Hills trails and anything you would need from town. After exploring it was so nice coming back somewhere quiet and comfortable away from the busier areas. Levi especially loved the playground, the mini horses, and definitely Snowball the cat. Watching him hop up on the horse’s back had him cracking up each time! Norma and Phil were incredibly kind and you can really feel the care they put into both the property and the people staying there. Check in and out was a breeze and they provided lots of information in a binder about nearby areas. We made so many special memories here! We already know we’ll be back and happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful Hocking Hills getaway!
