The space
☆ Misty Creek sits on 5 gently rolling acres, on the banks of Big Creek – at the junction of Hwy. 374 & 123, near Scenic Highway 7 south of Jasper, Arkansas.
☆ 3 swimming holes just a short walk away from the house! This means you can easily enjoy a refreshing dip whenever you'd like. How convenient is that?
☆ The Master Suite on the upper level is spacious and inviting, with a vaulted ceiling and king-size bed. It features comfy chairs, a big-screen satellite 60" LED TV & elegant wood floors. You can step out onto the upper-level deck through the sliding door or take the stairs down to the patio. The warm French-cosmopolitan décor creates a romantic and relaxing ambiance.
☆ The upstairs bathroom includes a separate shower stall and a Jacuzzi® Tub. The tub is conveniently placed next to a large fixed-glass window with a beautiful view of the creek and bluffs at the foot of Red Rock mountain.
☆ The Second Bedroom upstairs is beautifully decorated with a queen bed & French-country décor. The room has charming wood floors and books for the children to enjoy. A cozy rocking chair is placed in front of a floor-to-ceiling window, creating a lovely reading nook.
☆ The upper level Third Bedroom is spacious, with two queen-sized beds for a comfortable stay. There are chairs and lamps for relaxation. The room has access to the upper deck, which leads to the patio downstairs.
☆ The downstairs area is complete with kitchen, dining and living area, all within a large open space. Here you can enjoy a selection of board games suitable for all ages. Also downstairs, there’s a modern bathroom and shower, a convenient laundry room, and a newly added 4th bedroom, accessible from the patio. This bedroom can also be used as a workspace.

I honestly can’t say enough nice things about the property and the owner!!!HOST: Their communication was amazing! I’ve NEVER had the communication from a host even if you added up all of my other rentals through the years like I did from them!!! Everything was clear and concise. Not a demanding or overbearing host. I loved every minute of the stay. I HIGHLY recommend them and this residence. It was easy to locate once I got close, my navigation lost signal so my issue navigating there was due to that and not the more than adequate directions and assistance from the host.HOUSE: It was clean, had everything we needed. A/C was cold, plenty of space. It was close to the roads but still quiet and you can feel safe and relax. Misty Creek (actually Big Creek) can be enjoyed and you can hear the water going over the rocks! Such a nice background noise as you sit on the patio! LOCATION: Perfect to be able to easily get to the float the middle section of Buffalo River. Estimated travel times: Upper: It’s about a 40 min drive to Ponca/Steel Creek to put in to float the upper section to Kyle’s Landing. Middle section is within 10-15 min (Hasty & Carver). Lower is about 26 min to Mt Hersey.So honestly a FANTASTIC base for any of the put in/take out spots and take advantage of the entire river on low water days etc.Please book with them a lot, but not too much as I want availability for me to be able to go back and enjoy the river and house!

Listing was exactly as described, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Highly recommend to anyone looking to get back to nature. Accommodations were excellent!! Open floorplan, huge bedrooms, kitchen fully stocked with everything needed and cabinets/drawers labeled. Beds slept GREAT!! Beautiful property with a creek running beside it, viewable from the house. Tons of waterfalls within 30 minutes or less form the house (many require hiking, Falling Waters was easy and viewable from car.) Hosts were excellent and easy to contact with quick response. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely plan on returning.

Everything was in good shape, and the house itself was very relaxing--delightfully furnished, with a number of refreshing European touches. All in all, a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Convenient, homelike, luxurious.

The only downside was the stairs. Very difficult for my wife and me to climb. Wasn’t as clean as we expected but all in all was a very good week.
