Summary:
Summit Lodge - Luxury in the Heart of Montecito
We are so happy to present "Summit Lodge", a unique and thrilling masterpiece in the heart of Montecito, California. Prepare to be in awe of this expertly redone custom home. Put simply, no detail has been spared, as every step has been taken to ensure a "First-Class Luxury Rental Experience"!
The Space:
The long slate floor entry is a sign of things to come... as exciting living spaces, gourmet Kitchen, lavish Formal Dining Room, large Media Room and Dual Master Suites are only the beginning. High Beam Ceilings and warm solid wood flooring add to the visual stimuli, with tasteful art pieces, musical instruments and comfortable furnishings completing the space. Summit Lodge almost seems to transport you to a world-class Hollywood recording studio, or to your favorite mountain destination. That is, until you step outside...
Bask in some California Sun! Multiple seating and "hang" areas are set strategically throughout the well manicured gardens. No doubt about it though, the centerpiece of this exquisite property is the beautiful Swimming Pool, complete with built in Hot Tub. A cascading water feature adds a nice touch to help de-stress, unwind and refresh. Lounge about at your discretion, we insist.
Whether you are frequent guests or new to the Montecito/Santa Barbara area, we believe this location is very tough to beat. Located near Coast Village Road, in the heart of Montecito's Lower Village, we welcome you to live well. Local Favorites like "Jeannine's Bakery" and "The Honor Bar" are a few minutes away, along with boutique shops galore. "Butterfly" and "Miramar" Beaches are also minutes away. If you are visiting our beautiful city for a wedding or event, the "Rosewood Miramar" and "Biltmore" Resorts are, again, minutes away. See the theme? This location rocks!
We at Wanderlust take pride in providing a tremendous experience to our Guests. We can't wait for you to experience "Summit Lodge"!

We had an excellent stay at this VRBO property in Montecito. The location was perfect — private, peaceful, and conveniently close to everything we wanted to do. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and grocery store. The home was exceptionally clean, beautifully landscaped, and exactly as described in the listing. It was also extremely well appointed with plenty of linens, towels, fully stocked high end appliances in kitchen and thoughtful amenities throughout. Communication with the host was prompt and easy from start to finish, and the ample parking was an added bonus. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful home and setting. It was perfect for us to enjoy some family time as we celebrated our son's graduation.

Positives:- Beautiful house, well equipped- Great location- Great pool- Very Clean Negatives:- NO A/C — should have been more explicitly stated in the listing. The house was incredibly stuffy and muggy even with all the fans running and windows and skylights open. That's a big drawback- Plumbing was not great and second bathroom shower had clogged drain rending it fairly unusable- Broken dryer in the laundry room left clothing damp and was unusable because of loud noise and vibration- House Alarm system started beeping in the middle of the night and woke up the whole house
