We utilized this property for a family trip and found it spacious for our needs.

Nice place, super clean and new inside …lacked a little curb appeal , but all around quality property

Relatively clean property and very nice communal living areas with great TV's. Bedrooms were also nice. Great communication with the host as well. Would have preferred a few more kitchen and dining room amenities for our stay but overall, the property was as advertised and served our needs.

The host was great to communicate with, and he’s put effort into making the bedrooms comfortable. But he has serious issue with his cleaning crew!! But the house - is old and it was filthy! We had to clean the fridge before we could put food away. Literally everything in the kitchen was dirty, plates, silverware, counter tops, microwave, oven. Everything! Stickers everywhere - don’t turn two things on at once?? No dishwasher, which is fine - but no towels to dry dishes. Bathrooms were dirty, upstairs hair on the tiles. Downstairs, cobwebs & cockroach in the bathroom. Upstairs toilet ‘out of order’ Inside there is a stale, musty smell - but there is NO outdoor furniture to sit outside on the porch? And the porch - gross, dirty, dead bugs, lawn clippings, stones etc. It’s a mess. The backyard? Well that’s a hazard, no point even going out there. For Decatur, the street isn’t that bad. Could be way worse. But the owner needs to get the cleaning sorted. Everything in the kitchen needs to be thrown away and replaced - AFTER deep cleaning the cabinets, inside and out. Beds were comfortable - but the cleanliness or lack of were an issue. Host was kind and responsive, but I can’t recommend based on how poorly house was cleaned and state of the kitchen, meant we didn’t risk cooking there. Disappointing. Photos are deceiving and on purpose outside photos and proper kitchen photos missing. I won’t gross anyone out with the photos of mould, dirt, roaches and human hair :-(
