From here, you can explore the North Sea (and its islands), the Baltic Sea, and the beautiful state of Schleswig-Holstein.
The North Sea, with Sankt-Peter-Ording, Büsum, Husum, and Heide, is just a stone’s throw away.
The Baltic Sea, with Kiel, Eckernförde, and Flensburg, is perfect for day trips.
Hamburg is also within easy reach.
Furthermore, there are many other attractions in the immediate vicinity, such as the Nordfeld Lock, the Stone Age village of Albersdorf, the Kohlosseum in Wesselburen, and many small swimming spots nearby, as well as the “Dutch town”
Our thatched cottage was built around 1863, has approximately 90 m² of living space, and is situated in a very quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac right on the Eider dike.
