Start your morning with coffee in the **private Zen Garden**, surrounded by calming greenery and fresh air. In the evening, return to the garden with a book or glass of wine and let the peaceful setting help you unwind. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the retreat, including the Zen Garden, making it easy to relax outdoors while staying connected, taking calls, or working remotely.

Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, the retreat is just **4 minutes from Peterborough Regional Health Centre** and only minutes from downtown restaurants, cafés, the Art Gallery of Peterborough, Cineplex Odeon, Lansdowne Street shopping, supermarkets, the LCBO, and Starbucks.

Thoughtfully designed for two guests, the suite offers a calm and comfortable atmosphere with everything you need to feel at home.

## The Space

The Peterborough Zen Retreat comfortably accommodates **up to two guests** and includes:

* Private Zen Garden with outdoor seating
* Queen-size Murphy bed
* Comfortable living area
* High-speed Wi-Fi (available indoors and outdoors)
* Netflix, Apple TV, and Bell Fibre TV
* Kitchen with induction cooktop, microwave/convection oven, cookware, dishes, and refrigerator
* Walk-in shower with safety grab bars
* Washer and dryer
* Private entrance
* One parking space

Seven exterior steps with sturdy handrails lead to the private entrance.

## Meet Oscar

You may hear Oscar, our friendly German Shepherd who lives upstairs, announce your arrival with a few barks. He is simply letting us know someone has arrived and quickly settles down. Most guests find him gentle and easygoing, and he rarely draws attention once you are settled.

## Check-In

* Check-in: **3:00 p.m.**
* Check-out: **11:00 a.m.**
* One parking space is provided on the driveway.
* Overnight street parking is not permitted.

## House Rules

To help maintain a peaceful and comfortable environment:

* Maximum occupancy: **2 guests**
* No children
* No pets
* No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property
* No candles or open flames
* The backyard is reserved for the occupants of the other unit and is not accessible to guests.

## Safety & Comfort

Your comfort and safety are important. The suite includes exterior handrails, bathroom grab bars, a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, and a portable heater for cooler evenings.

If anything is needed during your stay, we are only a message or phone call away and happy to help while respecting your privacy.

I enjoy welcoming guests and providing a calm, comfortable place where they can truly relax. Whether you're visiting for work, medical appointments, or a getaway, I hope the Peterborough Zen Retreat feels like a peaceful home away from home.
