Bright, 50 m² and dressed in vivid yellow, Urban Yellow is a one-bedroom made for a couple`s city break in Rethymno. You get a separate bedroom, a large balcony and a bathtub.

Large balcony from both rooms: the balcony opens from the living area and from the bedroom, with outdoor furniture for breakfast, dinner or a coffee with city views.

Bathtub and laundry for longer stays: the modern yellow bathroom has a bathtub and a washing machine, and there is a drying rack and a spacious closet. It is the only apartment in The Palette with a bathtub.

Quiet and central: a quiet spot in the city centre with a pharmacy about 300 m and a supermarket about 700 m away, free street parking around the building and self check-in.

The space
Open-plan living area with a sitting area, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen: oven, stove, refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee maker and cooking basics.
The bedroom has one queen bed with a quality mattress, boho styling and a large closet.
There is also one full-size sofa bed; the apartment sleeps 2.
There is 1 bathroom, with a bathtub, shower and washing machine.
Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, and a safe are provided.

You have the whole apartment to yourselves: the open-plan living area and kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom with its washing machine, and the large balcony. Check-in is self-service: the keys are in a lockbox at the entrance, and you receive the code and step-by-step instructions the day before arrival.

We leave you to enjoy the apartment in privacy. The host does not live on site, but our service desk is reachable by call or message daily 09:00-18:00, extended to 07:00-23:00 from April to October. Please report any damage or malfunction straight away so we can deal with it.

The apartment sits in a quiet residential part of Rethymno`s city centre, near the Old Town. Everyday needs are on foot: a pharmacy about 300 m, a doctor about 600 m and a supermarket about 700 m away, with cafés about 1 km, the beach about 1.4 km and the main sights about 1.5 km.

Chania airport is approx. 65 km and Heraklion airport approx. 85 km away by road; Chania port (Souda) is approx. 50 km and Heraklion port approx. 80 km. In town a car is not necessary for everyday needs. Parking: free street parking around the building; no on-site parking.

Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 10:00. This is a residential building: quiet hours are 23:00-08:00, so please keep noise down on the balcony and in the stairwell. There is no elevator. Smoking is allowed on the balcony only, never inside. Pets are not allowed, and parties and events are not permitted. Hot water is switched on at the main electrical board and takes about 20 minutes to heat. For stays of up to 7 days, the apartment is cleaned and towels are refreshed every 4 days; longer stays get a full clean every 7 days plus fresh towels. ID details are required for all guests under Greek law.

THE APARTMENT

· Maximum occupancy is limited to the number of guests on the reservation.
Unregistered guests and visitors are not permitted.
· Smoking is permitted on the balcony only, never inside the apartment.
· No parties, events or gatherings.
· Pets are not allowed.
· Please keep windows and balcony doors closed while the A/C is running.

THE BUILDING

· Quiet hours: 23:00–08:00. We are in a residential neighbourhood and our neighbours live here year-round. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially on the balcony and in the stairwell.
· Please dispose of rubbish in the municipal bins before departure.

GENERAL

· Please report any damage or malfunction to our service desk immediately.
· Hot Water: To turn on the hot water, please check the main electrical board for the fuse with the grey button. Press the grey button, and the water will heat up automatically within approximately 20 minutes.
· The cleaning schedule is as follows:
For bookings of up to 7 days, the cleaning lady comes every 4 days and provides fresh towels and amenities.
For bookings longer than 7 days, the cleaning lady provides a full cleaning once every 7 days, in addition to fresh towels and amenities.
· Guests are responsible for the keys. A replacement fee applies for lost keys. If you are locked outside, please call Locksmith (if you get locked out) at +30 697 405 4000.
· ID details are required for all guests, as required by Greek law.
