The host was amazing to work with and the cabin is very cozy. This was our second time staying and looking forward to future bookings. Highly recommend.

Nice location and very scenic surroundings. Literally adjacent to a horseback riding ranch. Really pretty and very close to Hill City. Good setup for the house, but we experienced some cleanliness issues with the bathroom, coffee maker, the outdoor patio table, and some of the interior furnishings were stained. The place is showing its age. No cleaning supplies onsite. The front of one of the drawers broke when opening it. I would definitely stay in the general neighborhood again but I'm not sure I would stay at this house again.

Was a great location just right for our large family. The only issue we had was that the cabin seem to be infested with flies. They were up high, so they didn’t bother us terribly much, except in the children sleeping area. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we would come back.

Nice cabin, but only gave it a 3 for a few reasons. When we arrived there was no heat on anywhere in the cabin, it was 45 degrees inside and 15 degrees outside. It took a LONG time to heat, we were cold most of the first night. If it’s winter in SD, you leave the heat on. The heater in the bedroom wasn’t working and I contacted management and someone did come and fix it thankfully. The other reason is because we couldn’t use the bed in the couch because it had dirty sheets and dog hair all over it, absolutely gross. We had one child that had to sleep on the couch instead of the bed because of this. Also, the silverware drawer is broke and falls back every time you try to open it, had a child that caught his finger in it the first time he opened it, needs fixed. It was nice but the housekeeping could be improved. Also, it needs Kleenexes and coffee filters.
