Frohwein's Tiny & Garten is your retreat and starting point for relaxing days or weeks in and around the Harz Mountains. A new, energy-efficient vacation home awaits you, featuring 49 square meters of living space, a heat pump, underfloor heating, and solar power, including a wallbox for electric cars.

Please let us know after booking if you’d like to use the wallbox. We will then provide you with a KeyCard for use, and an advance payment for the estimated electricity costs will be required.

For up to 5 guests, there is a bedroom with a standard double bed and a large closet (master bedroom); the second bedroom, featuring a stackable bed and a bunk bed (max. 80 kg), is ideal for accommodating up to 3 children (though 3 adults can also sleep comfortably here). Electric roller shutters and windows with fly screens are provided.

The spacious living area features a fully equipped modern kitchen, including a dishwasher, a modern induction stove, and a large refrigerator and freezer; a dining area with an extendable table; and a cozy seating area with armchairs and a portable TV. Wi-Fi, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors are installed. Even with the windows closed, the electric ventilation system ensures a comfortable indoor climate at all times.

A modern, cozy bathroom with a large shower and plenty of storage space awaits you. You can store your luggage in the utility room, and there are many compartments and shelves available in the entryway.

Through the large sliding door, you’ll step into Frohwein’s south-facing garden, which slopes up toward the edge of the forest. A large patio with patio furniture and outdoor lighting awaits you during the warmer months. A patio umbrella, lounge chair, and electric grill are available in the garden shed. You can also wind down in the evenings on a second patio. Up in the garden by the garage, you can use a fire pit, and from the bench, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. Through the garden gate, you’ll reach the edge of the forest directly, where a playground awaits your children, or you can set out on hikes, bike rides, or a walk to the nearby “Osterteich” forest swimming area.

If you’d like to bring a dog, special conditions apply subject to prior arrangement and approval. Cats are not permitted.

We charge a one-time cleaning fee of €71 (cost price) regardless of the number of guests or length of stay.
A one-time fee of €15 per person (cost price) applies for the provided bed linens and towels.

CHECK-IN ON SUNDAY
Unfortunately, when there is a guest change on Sunday, we incur higher costs from the cleaning company (+€20)., If you check in or out on a Sunday before or after an ALREADY EXISTING reservation, we must charge you this additional cleaning fee on top of the visitor’s tax (see below).

A visitor’s tax is required in Quedlinburg, which we must collect and remit separately. This amounts to €3 per adult per day, €1 per day for children ages 6–18, and children The visitor’s card includes free use of bus services throughout the Harz district (HATIX) as well as discounts for daily city tours offered by the Quedlinburg Information Center, various special tours and day hikes, admission to the municipal museums (Castle, Klopstock, Half-Timbered House), as well as the guided tour of the Gernrode district (May–Oct.). With the bonus booklet provided at your lodging, many restaurants, retailers, and other tourism service providers offer a wide range of discounted services for guests paying the tourist tax in Quedlinburg.

Gernrode, with its 1,000-year-old Romanesque collegiate church of St. Cyriakus; the partially steam-powered Harzquerbahn railway; the World Heritage Site of Quedlinburg; and the Harz Geopark—with its valleys, castles, medieval towns, historic industrial monuments, deciduous forests, and rivers—offer a wide variety of activities for the whole family.
