Nestled in the heart of Sorrento, just 100 meters from the sea, this top-floor penthouse in a classic Sorrento residence is the perfect vacation home for visitors who want to enjoy one of the most picturesque areas of the Sorrento Peninsula.
La Mansarda, spread over two levels, can accommodate up to five people.
Upon entering the apartment, you’ll find yourself in a central, open-concept living area with a fully equipped open kitchen that leads to a beautiful terrace overlooking the square. The rooftop terrace, with its spectacular view of Mount Vesuvius, offers a stunning panorama of the city skyline. We had a wonderful stay at The Attic. It was a great property, with amazing views. The deck in the evenings was fantastic.

Ok it was probably the most gorgeous apartment in Sorrento (or Italy). And our host Antonino was amazing, meeting us on site and helping us check in. The patio overlooking the square with views of the sea was just gorgeous (would recommend an umbrella during day time but sunsets were amazing). If you do book it make sure you know your fitness level and don’t have heavy luggage as it is five flights of stairs. Two bathrooms and three sleeping areas make it great for a family. Place was exceptionally clean and comfortable with great air conditioning which we did need.

This apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Sorrento, just a few minutes walk to anywhere in town. My kids did not love waking to the church bells outside their window each morning, but the top floor terrace views are spectacular all hours of the day! The stairs to the apartment were no joke, however, the AC in the unit made up for the stair climb and saved us on the swelteringly hot days we stayed there. The apartment had everything we needed to eat breakfast there, wash our clothes and sleep at night.
It was difficult to plan and communicate about check in because we did not have cell service and only had access to wifi when we were in the apartment or in some restaurants. The Internet wifi of the apartment went out on 2 of the 5 days we were there and we had to find a wifi connection to contact the owner multiple times during our stay. He fixed the wifi, and responded to WhatsApp and phone calls promptly, it was just inconvenient to have to fix wifi multiple times during our 6 night stay.
The listing does not clearly state that the price per night is for 2 people. Even though the apartment can sleep 5, there is an additional per person charge per night, so look closely at the final cost - not only the price per night that is listed.
We would consider staying there again in the future :)
