We recommend checking the weather and webcam at Ober Mountain Ski Resort to determine the weather conditions here. The City of Gatlinburg does an excellent job of keeping the roads open in winter, but in case of heavy snowfall, it may take a day or more to make the roads safe for travel. When staying here in the winter, it is advised that you bring extra supplies just in case.
