We stayed for 5 nights. Absolutely beautiful setting, and a very nice and clean place. Plenty of room for our family of 7. Great central location for day trips to Mesa Verde, Telluride, and Ouray/Silverton/Durango.

This chalet was exactly what my wife and I were looking for on our mountain getaway. The view is unbelievable (much better than the photos can capture). It was so quiet that you rarely had any idea there were other houses in the area (and they are pretty spread out, so you don't really see them unless you are looking for them). Sitting on the deck looking at the mountains was the perfect way to start or end our day. Deer came by most days in the early evening to dine on the plants directly off the deck, and they didn't seem to care at all that we were sitting right there watching them! There were only two of us, but there is way more room in this rental than shows in the pictures. The furniture was all comfortable, the house was very well stocked, and even the drive into Ridgway (the nearest town) was beautiful. The location was very central for exploring the area (Ouray, Telluride, Silverton, the Million Dollar Highway). Rick, the property manager, lives a short walk down the road, and was very helpful and friendly. If we return to this area in the future we will definitely look at renting this property again.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was immaculate and was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. With all the pans we needed even a mixer. Everything worked perfect it was great. They’re even deer that walked right into the yard in the morning and the kids thought that was awesome.

I loved our stay here, it was beautiful every morning to look out of the window and the place was just as described. We felt right at home. My toddler had the most fun upstairs as there is a kids area to play with so many toys and a tent. We will definitely be back to Cielo Vista with more family!
