In the district of San Paolo 2 km from the centre of Dolcedo, 10 km from the centre of Imperia, 35 km from the centre of San Remo, in a sunny, elevated position on a slope, in the residential district, 9 km from the sea. For shared use: beautiful garden to relax, swimming pool (above ground) angular fenced (6 x 4 m, depth 120 cm, seasonal availability: 15.Apr. - 15.Oct.). 150 m long narrow motor access. Shop 2 km, supermarket 10 km, restaurant 2 km, bar 2 km, bakery 2 km, café 2 km, bus stop 200 m, sandy beach 14 km pebble beach 10 km, outdoor swimming pool 15 km, indoor swimming pool 15 km, bathing lake "Lecchiore" 4 km. Wir hatten das ganze Haus gemietet, weil ursprünglich ein befreundetes Ehepaar mitfahren wollte. Das klappte aber nicht. So haben wir das ganze Haus zu fünft gehabt, die obere Wohnung war die Schlafetage, die untere wurde fürs Kochen und Wohnen benutzt. Die hatte ja auch den direkten Zugang auf das terassenmässig angelegte Grundstück. Das ist wunderschön, mit einigen Sitzplätzen, sonnig oder schattig nach Bedarf, und sehr gepflegt. Die obere Wohnung hat ja nur den Balkon. Wie das bei alleiniger Anmietungdieser Wohnung mit der Gartennutzung aussähe, wissen wir nicht. Reisetipps: Für uns sehenswert die Küstenorte Loano (Freitags Markt), Albenga (gehen sie in die mittelalterliche Altstadt, da gibt es etliche schön bemalte Türen und dekorierte Hauswände), Alessio, Diano Marina, dann die Teilorte von Imperia, Oneglia und Porto Maurizio, sowie San Remo. Und dann noch Cervo, mit der mittelalterlichen Altstadt oben am Hang, Borgo di Cervo. Hier gibt es mittlerweile zahlreiche Künstler und Galerien, und auch nette kleine Restaurants mit Sonnenterassen und günstigen Preisen. Dolcedo selber fanden wir auch sehr charmant. Besuchen sie auf jeden Fall die kleine Kirche im Zentrum. Eine der schönsten Kirchen weit und breit. Die Pizzerien im Ort sollen alle gut sein, wir hatten uns aber auf die am Eingang der fussläufigen Zone festgelegt, Pizzeria Dolcedo. Sehr freundliche Leute, gutes Essen und günstige Preise. Direkt daneben die Galerie des Künstlers Jim Overbeck (Brite). Die erkennt man schon an der skurrilen Bemalung im Aussenbereich. Wir hatten das Glück, dass der Künstler extra für uns aufschloss und uns das Innere der Galerie (Gewölbe) zeigte, das er als Lebenswerk aufwendig und detailliert bemalt. Für uns ein besonderes Urlaubserlebnis.
