Chincoteague charm is a lovely house! The yard is beautiful and the cottage is very nice. We appreciated that the house is dog friendly and even had a dog bed.

I wrote a longer review on this previously but it does not look to be posting, so will keep this one shorter.
Overall, the house has a ton of potential but really needs a maintenance and cleaning visit.
Pros - Great location. Huge house for a big family, nice back yard. The guest house has a bedroom, pull out couch and bathroom which was perfect for an older couple who would have trouble with the stairs. Loved that we could see the bay from the front porch.
Cons - It felt like half the stuff in the house was broken. Bikes have flat tires, beach chairs broken, dishwasher leaked, front rocking chairs all loose. There were not enough sheets for all the beds, nor pillows, itchy blankets. We reached out about the sheets and were not brought enough, did not hear back again. A lot of dust in upstairs rooms and in general, many dishes dirty.
We are not a picky family and it almost got funny by the end of the trip when we found something else broken. The house is big, which is hard to find on the island, but the owners or management company really needs to inspect the place and make some changes for guest comfort.
