Blending modern comfort with natural serenity, Carawatha offers a peaceful escape just a short 4-minute drive or an 18-minute walk from Blackheath Village. The property features spacious living and dining areas, a fully equipped modern kitchen, and a generous rear deck overlooking the Hat Hill Creek gully. Two slow-combustion fireplaces and gas central heating ensure warmth through the cooler months, while free Wi-Fi and a smart TV add a touch of modern convenience.
Guests can enjoy easy access to nearby attractions such as the Rhododendron Gardens, Baltzer Lookout, and Hanging Rock. Mid century modern decor and kangaroos on the lawn - fabulous location

The cottage was large enough for my family but also very cosy. The ducted aircon and slow combustion fire kept us warm the entire stay. We loved the outlook from the kitchen and my granddaughter enjoyed playing with our poodles in the huge backyard. Kangaroos and close proximity to rhododendron gardens was great.

We were disappointed with the description and communication about the property.
Gas bottles run out and no instruction on how to deal with this. (Emergency phone number was not easy to locate).
No pre-warning you have to buy your own wood for the fires.
Heating system randomly turns down to 11 degrees, blows cold air and house becomes cold quickly.
Birds nest in the tress over the driveway at night and leave an excessive amount of poop on cars.
Best part about the place was the wildlife. Kangaroos and friendly Kookaburras.
