BEST TENT FOR SUNSETS:
Set high on its hillside, Kaarta takes its name from the Noongar word for scarp. From here, the view stretches across ancient jarrah forest to distant blue hills, with sunsets that light up the whole horizon.
A magnificent old jarrah stands in front of the tent, framed by grass trees, while kangaroos and sheep often graze nearby. It gives Kaarta a very special sense of place, especially in the golden light at the end of the day.
Private, peaceful and completely off-grid, Kaarta is made for long baths, quiet afternoons and evenings by the fire. Your indoor fireplace is available during the cooler months, with a private outdoor firepit available seasonally, subject to local fire restrictions.
Set within 478 acres of private forest above Bridgetown, Kaarta offers space, stillness and some of the most beautiful sunsets at Serenity Gully.
Fireplace: generally mid-April to mid-December, weather dependent.Firepit: generally mid-May to mid-October, subject to Shire direction and conditions.Firewood is supplied for normal use during your stay. Additional wood is available for $25 per bag.
