Such a cute quaint cozy spot. Definitely the best way to experience Volcano National Park and come back mid day for a rest and lunch without driving 45 minutes

Property is only minutes from Volcano National Park and approximately 40 minutes from Hilo. We stayed here for a few days to explore this side of the Big Island. Check-in was easy and the property was as described. The only hiccup was that the internet would not connect for the first few days due to the rain storms. Otherwise was an excellent stay.

Great property. Awesome place if you are going to HVNP. Only about a 8 minute car ride. Host was very ggod about communicating with us about check in. Cottage had everything you would need.

May not be a fair rating but this is based on my unique experience at the cottage when it was hit by Kona storm. I had no water, power and internet for the stay of two nights at the cottage. Although the condition was out of the control by the owner, later I knew from other people in the town that they were told one or two weeks in advance of the potential outages due to storm. Would appreciate more if I was told of the potential outages in advance.
