Ski Shop Lodges #6 | Remember That Time We Stayed at Schuss?
**A cozy ski-in/ski-out getaway where the best vacation memories begin.**
Remember that time we stayed at Schuss?
The one where you could ski right to your door, take a break whenever you wanted, warm up, grab a snack, and head right back out to the slopes?
That's the experience we wanted to create at **Ski Shop Lodges #6**.
Located in **Schuss Village at Shanty Creek Resorts at the base of Schuss Mountain**, The Ski Shop Lodges is a beautifully renovated former ski shop. We wanted to preserve a little piece of Schuss history, so we kept the original name — **The Ski Shop Lodges**.
Cozy, Comfortable & Designed for Two to Four people
Ski Shop Lodges #6 is a comfortable one-bedroom retreat with everything you need for a relaxing Northern Michigan getaway.
The condo features:
* **1 bedroom with a king bed and brand-new mattress**
* **Sofa sleeper**
* **Full bathroom with walk-in shower**
* **Heated tile floors throughout**
* **Fully stocked kitchen**
* **Gas grill**
* Plenty of dishes, cookware, and kitchen essentials
* **Excellent WiFi**
* **55-inch Smart TV**
The heated tile floors create that warm, cozy, **home-away-from-home feeling**, especially after a day outside.
The open-concept kitchen and living area keeps everyone together. Cook dinner while staying part of the conversation, or keep an eye on the kids while you prepare a meal.
Ski-In/Ski-Out Winter Fun
**The slopes are right outside your door.**
No loading everyone into the car. No hauling ski equipment across a parking lot. Ski, take a break, come back for lunch, and head right back out.
Enjoy:
**Skiing & snowboarding**
**Cross-country skiing**
**Snowshoeing**
**Four-season mountain adventures**
**Cozy evenings back at the lodge**
Whether you're an experienced skier or introducing the kids to the mountain, this location makes enjoying winter easy.
Summer in Northern Michigan
When the snow melts, Northern Michigan becomes a summer playground.
**Bellaire is just 5–10 minutes away**, and beautiful **Torch Lake is only about 10–15 minutes away**.
Use the lodge as your home base for exploring:
**Traverse City • Petoskey • Harbor Springs • Torch Lake • Sleeping Bear Dunes • Bellaire • and beyond**
Spend your days boating, golfing, hiking, swimming, shopping, dining, or simply enjoying the beautiful scenery of Northern Michigan.
Pool Included
Your stay includes a **complimentary pool pass** giving you access to the **Schuss Village pool located next door**.
The pool is open seasonally during both **summer and winter**, making it a great place to unwind after a day on the mountain or cool off on a summer afternoon.
*Pool closures are outside of our control. Closures are uncommon, but we are unable to provide refunds for pool closures.*
### Bringing a Boat?
A **special boat parking lot** is available, making Ski Shop Lodges #5 a convenient home base for your summer lake adventures.
Traveling With Another Family?
One of the unique features of **Ski Shop Lodges #5 and #6** is that the two condos have an **adjoining door**.
When the door is locked, each condo remains completely private, making them perfect for **two families traveling together who want to stay close while still having their own separate space**.
Open the adjoining door when you want to gather together, or close and lock it when everyone wants their own privacy.
It's the best of both worlds.
